SJC has successfully managed teams of auditors performing operational and IT systems audits both nationally (Texas and Oklahoma), as well as internationally in Equatorial Guinea, West Africa; Stavanger, Norway; and Aberdeen, Scotland. SJC has had the responsibility performing all aspects of auditing: planning, managing, and reporting.
Simmons-Johnson Consulting, LLC (SJC) is a Woman-Owned Small Business, SBA 8(a) certified and EDWOSB Certified management consulting firm that provides services in the areas of accounting, auditing, compliance, disaster recovery, and process improvement needs of businesses and organizations. We were incorporated in the State of Texas on March 31, 2017.
SJC has a broad range of experience in accounting, auditing, compliance, process improvement, business analysis, project management, systems implementation, training services and development of standard operating procedures. Stephanie S Johnson (Managing Owner) worked in corporate America over 30 years where she specialized in operational audits and quality process improvement and achieved the Six Sigma Green Belt. Company personnel have worked for one major governmental contractor, General Dynamics in San Diego, California where success was achieved in contract closeout and system process improvement. Her work also includes a Department of Defense project at Fort Harrison, Indianapolis Indiana, where personnel were responsible for the conversion of a legacy accounting system to an in-house developed Oracle-based software platform. SJC has provided training in accounting basics to the Defense Joint Accounting System; in auditing/internal controls, and disaster management.
